Permanent Christmas lights

Lights that stay up all year and switch to Christmas with a tap. No ladders in November, no tangled strands, no taking them down in January.

Why go permanent

Regular Christmas lights mean a weekend on a ladder before the holidays and another one after, or paying someone to do both every single year. Permanent lights are installed once along your roofline and stay there.

When the holidays are over you don’t take anything down. Switch them to warm white for an everyday look, or turn them off until next time.

What gets installed

  • A slim track mounted under the edge of your roof
  • LED lights set into the track at even spacing
  • A controller connected to power, usually in the garage or near an outdoor outlet
  • An app on your phone to pick colors, patterns and schedules

Christmas, then the rest of the calendar

Classic red and green, multicolor, cool white, slow fades between colors: you pick. After Christmas, the same lights cover New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, the Fourth and Halloween.
